My Death wizard Angela Shadowblade is now level 39, close to 40. She just learned the empower spell after 3 runs through Crimson Fields lol. The first time was for the quest and I was warned by my dear friend and Unholy Trio sibling, SorceressMiklai, that I would need it again but I wanted to farm Yakedo so decided to run 2 different runs. Or so I thought. I hit level 38 on Saturday morning and sure enough, was called to get my spell. Did Crimson Fields for the second time and looked at quests to see where I needed to go next...oops. I forgot to do first part of quest which was in Krokotopia. Went to Krok and then got quest to defeat War Oni (Yes the very one I had just beaten).
Third times the charm, and I finally did get my spell. Soreceress and Cass, could not have done it without you. Hope you got some giggles out of my little goof. I know I did. Also thanks to Alric for the extra assist with Soreceress I don't think the trio came together as a whole but each time I had to run, one of them was with me. I love my friends.
Also some good news. I have a pet Death Scarab. I am hoping to help SM and Alric out by mixing and seeing if they can get one too. She is an adult now but want her at Ancient or Epic before I mix. Should not be too hard to get her there.
Up and coming from me
I have been working on a few things for a while now and do not know how well they will do but all I can do is try. First thing, I have a story I have created for Wizard101Central entitled "Prophecy of Blades". I have a very wild imagination and am having fun creating this tale. So far I have 2 chapters written and am working on the third which is actually going to be divided into 2 different story threads. It features all of my current Grandmaster wizards. Adding an excerpt from it and will post the full first chapter sometime this week on Central.
Here is some of Chapter One (This is not the beginning but is a teaser hee hee)
"Heather got up and walked out of the Myth Tower slowly, barely even noticing the stares she got from other students as she passed through Ravenwood and went into her dorm room where she laid on her bed to think. Despite the name, Lighthope Lane was not what one would call cheery. The trees there had long since died and were now empty shells that stretched to the sky as if pleading to be cut down. There was only one house on the street so it was more of a driveway than a street but it had always been called Lighthope Lane and no one dared to argue the point. Even Death students shivered slightly as they passed the huge iron gates.
An hour later, Heather stood in front of those very gates. The Death spell symbol was etched on each side in iron and two bell towers were holding the gates up. Where the gates met at the top, the Death school symbol, a skull in a circle, divided in half. Not able to control her trembling, Heather started to grab a rope to ring one of the tower bells but before she could give it a tug, the gates opened mysteriously without so much as a creak.
“Great.” Heather said to herself as she walked through the gap between the gates. “I must be crazy doing this. I am risking my life for a grade that probably will not be higher than a C.”
The pathway beyond the gates seemed to stretch for miles due to a thick fog all over the property but it only took a minute or two of walking before the house came into view and Heather stopped dead in her tracks. Tall and decrepit, it was the very essence of every haunted house ever talked or read about. The two windows on the top floor seemed to be staring at her as she slowly walked towards it and she could have sworn they blinked. The path split up and went three ways. One went right and around a hill, the other went left toward a graveyard (Yeah right, like she was going that way.), and the third went straight down the middle toward the house."
Second thing: I am working on a real life children's story. I have the premise but not sure how I want to write it. Would love to try rhyme scheme but then ugh, do not want to stay that route if by some miracle, the story gets published.
I think that is it for now. Will keep you updated and post link to Central story when I post it.
I am loving the teaser part so far, Heather and can't wait to read more.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the Crimson Fields go, it was no problem since Yakedo does drop good items. Too bad there weren't any pets in those runs :( Maybe next time or if you ever want to farm him let me know.
